Problem-Based Training Programs for Change Leaders to Build Skills in Practicing Collaborative (Internal and External) Innovation on an Ongoing Basis

The Innovation Expedition team includes many members with extensive experience in teacher training, adult education, distance learning and executive education.

Integrating these skills for designing efficient and effective learning initiatives with the broad expertise of the team in change management and performance improvement has led to an evolving line of business which offers clients problem-based learning initiatives to build their capacity to organize and lead teams which have the capacity to collaborate and innovate to accomplish complex tasks.

At the moment we are developing this line of business under two major categories: CDS Group Training Initiatives and Specialized Online Training Programs in Alliance with Specific College and University Alliances.

(a) CDS Group Training Initiatives
  These customized training opportunities draw heavily on the group training program created for new CDS Affiliates which utilizes the ten CDS Self-Learning Modules as the core resource. Clients requesting this type of training to improve their capacity to practice innovation are asked to identify one or more key challenges they wish to address. The training exercises are then built around these real life challenges.
(b) Specialized Training Initiatives with College and University Alliance Partners
  Efforts are also underway to offer IE’s specialized training initiatives on a more regular basis through accredited educational institutions which are pioneering distance learning.
