The Chief Scout of the Expedition, Stephen Murgatroyd, is widely regarded as a leading authority on e-learning – recognized by the award of an Honorary Doctoral degree in e-Learning from Athabasca University in 2000.  Stephen launched the world’s first online MBA at Athabasca University in 1993/4 and has been responsible for similar innovations in the public and private sector, most notably through his work at Axia NetMedia Inc. He is currently working on a new innovative masters program for Sprott Shaw Community College and its International Institute.
